Birding at Evergreen Cemetery- Travis Audubon

Please join Jennifer Bristol, author of Cemetery Birding and Parking Lot Birding for an exploration of Evergreen Cemetery in Austin. She will be joined by Travis Audubon co-leader Brooke Scheibe and City of Austin Parks and Recreation staff member Caitlen Hill for a fun morning of discovering birds and uncovering the history of some of east Austin’s most prominent citizens. This trip is suitable for adults, youth and people with limited mobility.

Birding at Liberty Hill Cemetery- Travis Audubon

Please join Jennifer Bristol, author of Cemetery Birding and Parking Lot Birding for a Halloween birding adventure. She will be joined by Travis Audubon co-leader Celeste Treadway for a fun morning of discovering birds and discussing the human history that shaped the land between the North and South Forks of the San Gabriel River. This trip is suitable for youth, adults and people with limited mobility.

This walk is free, but registration is required and limited to 16 participants.

Birding at Oakwood Cemetery- Travis Audubon and Jennifer Bristol

Please join Jennifer Bristol, author of Cemetery Birding and Parking Lot Birding, for an exploration of Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. She will be joined by Travis Audubon co-leader Cheryl McGrath and City of Austin Parks and Recreation staff for a fun morning of discovering birds and uncovering some of Austin’s most famous and infamous citizens of yester-year. This trip is suitable for youth and adults, but the gravel roads are not great for people with limited mobility.
A restroom will be available in the Chapel at the start and end of the walk.
