Please join author Jennifer Bristol for a chat about birds, books and childhood memories of Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. While working at Texas Parks and Wildlife, Jennifer delved deep into the research as to why people are more disconnected than ever from our natural world. What she discovered set her on a mission to reconnect children and adults with nearby nature. Both her books celebrate the birds of Texas that can be found in unexpected places. Her own love of nature can trace its roots back to the juniper breaks and limestone hills of the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. With the Spring migration starting in just a few weeks, it's a perfect time to come learn about the birds and so much more.
