CEMETERY BIRD WALK- CITY OF AUSTIN & TRAVIS AUDUBON

This large, historic cemetery is the final resting place of many of Austin’s interesting citizens including the founder of Travis Audubon, Magnolia Greene. The mature trees and prairie area support over 130 species (and counting) of migrating and local birds. This trip will be co-led by Jennifer Bristol, author of Parking Lot Birding; Travis Audubon Master Birder Mary Ann Robalino; and Caitlen Hill, the Cemetery Programs Manager with Austin Parks and Recreation Department. Paved roads throughout the cemetery make this cemetery accessible for those with mobility challenges.
